Our Story

Pivot Point was founded by two brothers with decades of coaching experience at all levels of the game. As former collegiate players, Brett and Kent Becker excel at breaking down the fundamentals to improve the way players approach hitting. After  years of seeing players challenged with hand alignment on the bat, they've created a product to improve a player's bat grip.

Pivot Point is a baseball/softball batting grip that puts a batter’s hands in the best position- generating clean efficient movements, requiring no conscious thought. Pivot Point's one-piece technology features a built-in knob, power grooves and ergonomic palm pads that contour to the hands, giving the player maximum comfort. Pivot Point's mission is to help every player become a better hitter, and it starts with the proper grip.

Whether you're a youth league beginner or a professional, softball or baseball player...

About The Grip

The Pivot Point Grip is a first of its kind product, combining function and comfort to create the perfect bat grip. Designed with Power Grooves™ for hand alignment, Ergonomic Palm Pads for complete comfort, and an Integrated Knob to improve range of motion and barrel accuracy,

The Pivot Point Grip is ideal for baseball and softball players looking to improve their hitting performance.

Why Gripping The Bat Is Extremely Hard

If you played or coached baseball/softball you have probably heard, “Don’t grip the bat too tight, keep it loose in your hands.” Baseball/Softball coaches would all agree that gripping the bat too tight is the easiest way to ruin a good swing.

All of this is true but most of us fail.

What if we told you the biggest offender of gripping the bat too tight is the skinny design of the bat handle?

Just like you, we were struggling to help players be consistent hitters so we created a grip that would finally make the bat feel loose in their hands. Pivot Point Grips allow you to use your entire hand-not just your fingers, which puts you in a stronger, more comfortable position to create a faster hand pivot. Resulting in faster exit velocity and more consistent barrel accuracy.

How are Pivot Point Grips Different

When we were developing our grip, we knew that we had to make a grip that was going to feel bigger and be comfortable at the same time. The concept is simple, “The greater surface area your hands connect to the bat, the more control you have of the barrel.”

We are delighted to develop the first and only grip that improves player performance by just placing their hands on a Pivot Point Grip!
